Old vines located on the southern end of the Eola-Amity Hills AVA with wide-spaced rows recall another era of Oregon viticulture. This spacing allows a cooling coastal breeze to flow through the vineyard for a long growing season. Whole-cluster pressed and barrel fermented, this is an excellent example of a balanced Chardonnay. Barrel fermented in French oak, the wine carries aromas of honeycomb, lime zest, pear, and brioche and flavors of citrus and caramel apple. 235 cases produced.
