Hirschy Vineyard is located in the heart of the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. At 400 feet elevation, the vines are planted surrounding an iconic barn that is visible from miles away. The blocks that Amaterra works with are due-south exposure and this, combined with the Willakenzie soils, lead to dark-fruited and well-structured wines.

TASTING NOTES AS OF APRIL, 2023
Aromas of bramble, macerated raspberry and marionberry, tree bark, and ripe cherry on the nose. A concentrated structure alongside flavors of cranberry, black tea, cola, and berry preserves on the palate.
